Valeria interviews Helen Hoyte. She started her coaching journey in 2016 after going to London on a NLP & coaching weekend, she was hooked.  Since then Helen has qualified as a certified coach and she is a member of the Association for Coaching. She has been running her Coaching Practice alongside her teaching roles for just over 2 years. Helen draw on her experience and knowledge of physical, mental & spiritual wellbeing, and bring it into her coaching practice.

Some of Helen’s current particular areas of interest are: Human behavior, self-care, mental & physical health, happiness, imposter syndrome, overcoming fear and conquering challenges, building self–esteem & confidence, working creatively, business development, communication skills and relationships.

She recognizes that the quality of the relationship between coach and client is the foundation for successful outcomes. Helen is currently studying Therapeutic Counselling to complement her coaching practice.

Previously, she began her career in the health & wellbeing sector, as a fitness Instructor in my mid 20s.  In 2011 she started a wellbeing business, selling naturally sourced aromatherapy toiletries, candles and offering massage and aromatherapy treatments. 

In June 2015, Helen was lucky enough to become a freelance tutor for Holistic Therapies Training Academy.  Working as part of a team of tutors and covering the South West Devon area, she is responsible for teaching a wide range of complementary therapy and wellbeing courses and workshops, including stress management and coaching courses.
